Rev. James Thelen, Sr. Pastor

Introducing our new Sr. Pastor, Jim Thelen.  A veteran pastor with 35 years of experience at churches across the country. He has served at St. Paul/St. John in Iowa; St. Paul in West Allis, WI; Hales Corners, WI; Peace Lutheran in Saginaw, MI; Ascension in Tucson, AZ; and 1C/The Sanctuary in Columbus, NE. 

He and his wife Kristin have seven adult children and numerous grandchildren.

Rev. Gary Koltz, Vacancy Pastor

Pastor Gary Koltz is a second-career pastor with 4-1/2 years of service at a church in Michigan. At that point he joined the Good Life crew, a creation of the LCMS. The idea was to reach unchurched people through music, games, and family-based activities. The ministry was very successful in Michigan. Gary moved to Florida to expand the ministry here. Unfortunately, Covid hit and his plans were cancelled. Pastor Gary will continue to serve Marco Lutheran until August 2024.

Gary is a father of two. One daughter is in college. The other is an active high school student. He serves as full-time water management engineer for the State of Florida.
