We, the members of the Body of Christ at Marco Lutheran Church, rejoice that you have asked us to assist you in your wedding celebration.
Our Pastors will work with you in planning and scheduling this special day in your lives. We also have our Great Room available for your wedding reception.
Weddings, just like all other services at Marco, are intended to be joyful occasions for worship in which God serves us and the gathered community serves God.
Your wedding service also offers you a special opportunity to give witness of your faith in God’s graciousness for you and all people in Jesus Christ.
You should know:
- All couples are expected to complete a series of marriage counseling sessions with the Pastor or his representative prior to the wedding.
- The Bride and/or Groom should have a close connection with a LCMS Lutheran Church and an understanding of LCMS church beliefs and practices.
Working with you, the pastor will aid you in decisions about other matters including:
- THE WORSHIP SERVICE: Choosing an appropriate order for Worship, scripture readings, vows to be spoken, and prayers.
- MUSIC: Organist, soloists, instrumentalists, songs and hymns for congregational singing.
- PROGRAMS/BULLETINS
- USE OF THE GREAT ROOM FOR YOUR RECEPTION
- Do you want to video stream the service for those that cannot attend in person?
